PNE People....such a great place to people watch.

Butterfly balloon.

While eating our lunch, I turned and noticed these ladies. I wondered why they were wearing the same clothes and same jewelry...I then saw that they were twins. From the angle they were at, it doesn't look like they were identical, but they were very much alike and very connected. My son thought it was odd that I was taking random photos of unknown people. He called me a "creeper". LOL.  I like to think of them as the perfect models.

Ya just never know what you're gonna see at The PNE!

Fort Stevens USA

There was some beautiful light and shapes and texture in these cave like hallways. This was the entrance to underground artillary bunkers. It was a bit creepy but I found beauty in it, too. I spent lots of time walking around and taking photos. I think I got lost in it all....then I lost my hubby and sons, so I had to go find them.

Fun With Camera Settings

So today, Brook and I went into the tunnel behind work again. There's all sorts of grafitti everywhere...murals more like it. Some fantastic artwork displayed in there. Both of these photos were taken with my new Canon D60. The effects were done in camera, not using photoshop. Well....I cropped the black and white one slightly. Enjoy.

Musical Passion (Seaside Busker)

This was a young man singing and playing guitar at the tourist viewpoint at Seaside, OR. Here he was just belting out some beautiful words. He was so passionate about his music that he at times got down on one knee, or spread his arms to somehow grasp more energy from everyone. He was truly wonderful to watch and listen to. Again, I didn't get his name.
Will call him Matthew.

Some Street Photography...

I bought a new camera. It's beautiful. It's a Canon D60 and it came with a Canon 18-135 mm lens. I haven't mastered it (haven't mastered the other one I have yet either but...) Anyways, I have always wanted to work on my street photography. People mostly. What better way to christen my new camera with. Here is one of the first photos I took with it. Taken in Seaside, Oregon at sunset last night. He was interesting to watch as he watched people. I think I will call him Richard.

I will be showing a few more soon. Enjoy!

Massive Trees To Shelter Us

These trees sheltered us during our camping trip this week. I think they were worth mentioning.
